Hi, I'm a mom of a 6year old girl and a 3 year old boy.  I currently watch kids in my home and I'm looking for a change.  Anyone out there have any idea's?  I would like to work from home if possible but I know it is hard to find legit work like that...

Hi Kim,

There are a few different ways to guage what the best business for you is.

#1, I say it's the one where you LOVE the product! You use the product, you love it and you want to share that with others!

#2, I would say look for a company that has a 'consumable' product. That was a definite requirement for me to even consider starting up with a home based business. You want something where you can build a base of repeat customers, where they buy your product, use it up and then want to buy it again.
 
#3, you want a company that has been around for a bit, so they have established business practices, a great reputation of quality and a good compensation plan. You notice that I didn't say the best compensation plan...that's because there are all sorts of compensation plans out there depending on the product, industry, and new ones pop up all the time. BUT, it doesn't matter how good the comp plan is if you are not passionate about the product and the company and how they care about you.

Sorry I don't know why this posted 3 x. I also want to tell you that I was with a company before this that only had 1 product line, I was tired of trying to get poeple to buy the one product line. With my company STE I have acess to over 1500 stores that poeple buy from already everyday.

i think its awesome that you have been able to stay at home with your kids and now you want to add a little income......

as i agree with everything in the above posts what is also important to look for is the integrity of the founds and of the company.....its something to look at and look for while looking at various companies...
