Bottle weaning

My daughter is almost 14 months so I should probably start trying to wean her from drinking from a bottle. She drinks only her milk from a bottle everything else from a sippy cup. SHe drinks very slowly from a sippy cup with frequent drops on the ground so I am sort of dreading the switch. How old  was your little one when you made the switch, any suggestions?

Our foster daughter was probably 13-14 months when we took her bottle away. We just kept giving her a cup. Everytime she'd ask for something to drink, we'd just give her a sippy cup and send her on her way. She did awesome. Never had ONE issue with switching over. It was kind of cold turkey, but it worked for us.
