My name is Amanda and I am new to this group.  I have a five year old daughter, a 3 year old son and a 3 week old son.  I am looking for some kids for my kids to get together with over the summer.  We like to do pretty much anything.  We especially LOVE the zoo and parks.  I look forward to meeting and chatting with you.

Welcome to the group!  It hasn't been really active lately, but hopefully a fresh face will help get it going again.  I have a (almost) 10 year old son that lives with his dad most of the year, a 4 year old son, a 2 year old daughter, and a 2 week old son.  Hopefully we can plan something soon!

I forgot to mention that my real name is Chris, but there are SO many people named Chris around, it is kind of pointless to go by that name online!

i have a friend of mine from muskegon who's looking to meet up at the battle creek zoo later this year...maybe september...would anyone be interested in meeting there then?

Back to the subject at hand, it would depend on finances for us.  I've been wanting to take the kids to the zoo, Binder Park being our preferred zoo, but our membership expired and Randy (my husband, for anyone that doesn't know) was injured at the beginning of June and has been off work ever since.  Until he goes back and starts getting the overtime we generally live off of, things are pretty darn tight.  I'd definitely try to work something out though.

aw man!!!  yeah, tim was getting sick last weekend...we went 2 weeks ago though...

wow...didn't know he got hurt.  is it serious?  i hope he gets better soon.  part of the reason i wanted to wait until next month was finances for us too.  want to make sure we have enough to make it then!  nothing is set in concrete yet though, so there is still time.  plus, if we can't do it this year, we can always try again next year!  then we should all definitely be better off...hopefully anyways!
