My daughter will be one in august!!!!! She's starting to play with other kids, and it seems none of the groups in my area actually meet up. So how do you go about finding a group or a mother's day out program. I would even consider putting her in daycare in the mornings just for the play time. I just don't how to find any of this! 

My playgroup meets daily, offers weekend options w/ Dads & Mom's Night out twice/mo...  I'd check out www.meetup.com for a playgroup near you :)

i agree with sandi. meetup.com is a very helpful site. i am also in the same boat as you ripleigh, i am also considering letting my 12 month old go to a daycare just for the playtime...

If you don't find one you like on meetup- start one!  I did 8 months ago & now we have 175 members!
