I feel the exact same way right now. I hate that I am all alone taking care of a baby all day long with no help, no sleep and no money. i hate my husband right now cause he can be so mean and creapy to me and i hate my little dog for barking so much after i spent an hour getting the baby to sleep he ruins it in two seconds because he barks constantly because he is jealous, i hate the fact that my mom has passed on leaving me with no one to talk to, no one to ask advise from, no one to help me, no one to babysit and no one who loves me for me, so i have one of those days almost every single day! |

ME TOO!! ok, on the count of three, lets all scream together!
Its sounds funny, but it always makes me feel better to sing Cher songs at the top of my lungs......on days like this! its stupid enough to break the tension, and gives you enough of a giggle to get you through to bedtime! |

I'm with you all. I have a 3yr old boy who has the energy that could power a whole house and a 6month old girl. Screaming is what I am good at. I go down the basement so neighbors can't hear me and I would scream until I'm out of breathe. It's the only thing that keep me sane. |

I don't know how on earth I survived those days. Now today both of our kids are at work on a farm. Iwas really alone when they were your kids age. New town,no family, no friends, no money, no vehicle most of the time. First a new city until they were about 3 & 4 then to a new town, life inproved. Two babies a year apart. We spent a lot of time walking to the park, which wasn't easy with only one stroller. On hot days the airconditioned library saved all of our lives :) Some summers we had to actually save for a $8.00 kiddie pool, but it was worth its weight in gold. Fortunately I met a SAHM of 6 kids who was a saint and calm, she gave me many ideas. Like free videos fromthe library and pretend we were space travelers under a 'tent'. popcorn in the morning was fun. From my mother I learned the many advantages of not letting the kids sleep in. We were able to do alot before it got hot then sleep easily between 12-3. Frozen koolaide popcycles helped as well. Sometimes just a cool bath helped me get through it, I'd let them play, while I cleaned the bathroom and it would cool me off as well then put them to bed for a nap while I took a bath. There were many times I was lonely and certainly did not have a computer then. Someweeks I went no where, like in the winter. It seemed like I would be changing diapers for eternity and now I can't remember changing them at all and it certainly wasn't that long ago. Another thing to take your mind off of the heat would be to plan for activties and events that will be coming up, birthdays, holidays, christmas projects. Researching inexpensive craft ideas or Autumn decorations might cheer you up. Just thinking about Autumn always puts me in a good mood, because its my favorite time of year. Canning, decorating, Mums, pretty leaves and cool days..................................... I hope today is better for you ladies. |

I know exactly how you feel my dear, and it sounds like everyone else does too. Try to do something good for yourself. My girlfriend and I are starting a yoga class one night a week in the evenings so our husbands can feed the babies and put them to bed while we relax. That helps me get through the screaming times, along with screaming in a pillow. Hang in there, I'm here for 'ya--that's the cool thing about this website! Hugs!!!! |

Wow, I definitely had one of those days today! I got in the shower and just cried. I felt totally hopeless, like me world was just crumbling down... Although I don't like to know that others are suffering, after reading your entries I feel better. It's nice to be reminded that we're only human and it's normal to have a bad day. In the end our babies smile will always put one on our faces!! Thanks ladies |

I'm having one of those days right now. I am sick of being in the house. My son just isn't happy with whatever I do. I haven't been working for almost a year now and it is quite an adjustment. |
