I am a new member and just wanted local parents to know about my

favorite kid's boutique. They are starting to offer classes. This is a great store where I go almost every weekend to buy birthday presents for all of the parties my three kids get invited to. There are some great happenings going on at Belle Bottom Baby!!

MAKE-A-BOOK COMES TO BELLE BOTTOM BABY

Not only do we want to outfit your little ones  in the grooviest clothes possible, but we are now going to help launch their careers as published authors! We've partnered up with After-School Days, LLC, run by Ann Brenoff (you probably know her name from reading her Hot Property column about celebrity real estate in the Los Angeles Times!) to run a once a week class where all the best-dressed kids we know will write and illustrate their very own 12-page hardcover books! 

The price of the 5-week class is $100 plus a $10 materials fee. For that you get the kit, one free copy of your child's first professionally published book (and yes, you may order more) and five one-hour lessons supervised by Ann or one of her trained assistants.

Classes start on Monday July 20 and will be held in our light and bright "Future Authors Room."

BUT THAT'S NOT ALL .....

For those of you with highly gifted kids, we are hosting a special WRITING MENTORING WORKSHOP with the well-known children's book author, Barbara Jean Hicks. Barbara will be coming to our store to teach a 90-minute class designed for children who love to write, write, write. Ages 8 to 14 are welcome. The program consists of four 90-minute sessions with a lot of one-on-one time. Dates: Tuesdays July 21, July 28, Aug. 4 and Aug. 11. One class will meet from 11 am to 12:30 pm and a separate class will run from 1 p.m. to 2:30 pm. Cost is $160 for four meetings. Class size will be limited to 6, so don't delay on this one!
