Hi ladies, today I was having lunch with my 2 and 4 year old while the 6 year old was at school, I was feeding the baby and my 4 year old says, "why do you love Noah more than you love me?" I am not surprised that he feels that way, I tend to spend more time with the 2 year old because of course he still needs to be watched more carefully and my 6 year old requires so much time with school work and sports, etc. Does anyone have any advice as to how I can manage my time better to have quality time with him? |

My parents did a mommy or daddy date with us. I think it was once a month. But the important thing was they took us out one on one and had mom or dad time. It was never anything big. But it was nice to have alone time to talk to my parents. I think it so hard during the week to split your time equally. good luck! |

I a 3 1/2 year old and an 8 month old, so I know how hard it can be to spend quality time with each child. I try to do as much as I can with the other child when the other one is napping. If posible, my husband and I read a book and put our older child to bed together so that he gets special time with both of us. I have also had "date" night with my son so that I was able to be with just him doing an activity that he enjoys. It is important to always remind each child how much you love them and how special they are. I only have 2 children, so I can't imagine how dificult it is with 3! Rachael
