Well its supposed to rain, so I called Trish at the farm and we decided to reschedule. So the trip is postponed. We have not set a date so everyone please let me know when you are available either this week or next. Id prefer wednesday, thursday or friday. We do have to respect their needs as well. I apologize for any inconvienance. Thanks everyone for understanding.

That would be great for us as well. I only need to clear it with a few othe moms and then we should be all ready to go. I am going to post an email trish at the farm sent me. I think she may want to charge a nominal fee. depending on which way we go. I just got this message yesterday from her. let me know which you all prefer, and I will arrange it all. thanks again for your understanding..

Good morning Barbara

I am assuming you are still planning on coming out tomorrow if the weather permits it... so I just want to tell you a few rules before you come... all children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.... the animals are our livelihood..we normally do not have such large groups since this is a working farm...we treat our animals with respect and love and expect all visitors to also.... We have no bathroom available so make sure that everyone goes prior to coming....NO one is allowed near the pigs.... pigs are dangerous animals... not meaning to be but they have lock jaws and if they bite they can't let go until they have closed their jaws fully and that means shattered legs and arms....or worse.......

Do you want this to be just a quick run threw... meeting all my animals and talking shouldn't take more then an hour..... or would you want it to be educational....if so I do ask that a monetary donation also be provided for my time... $3.00 per child is standard.... If that is the chosen method I suggest a blanket or towel for everyone to sit on while I teach an interactive experience... Let me know which way you want to go with this and I can have everything ready...Tricia

Uhhh, I don't think my 2 yr.old son will want to sit there and listen to any lectures about animals, at his age I think he will want to just see them. I don't know about everyone else, if they want to sit and listen we would probably be able to manage it though.

I know.. my son is at an age where he could take it or leave it to. Im thinking just go for the hour maybe a bit longer... I just know he will have fun going. There are some older kids going as well, I know they may want to be there longer..but they live across the street from me and I can always find other ways to have fun with them here at my house. They're all tweens and 1 fourteen year old. The rest of the kids are much younger. Either way, itll be fun. wondering if thursday would work for you... several other moms have told me that thursday would be better for them. If not.. I can work it out for wednesday.. not a big deal. Thanks

Angie thats ok, I have lots of other things planned out for the following week here in town. including walking the bridges, a craft day here at my house or somewhere, then maybe a park playdate.

Nicole, It seems that none of the other moms can do wednesday. Will you be able to go thursday? If not we can arrange a meet up soon, hopefully this week. Let me know. I have to know about the farm by noon tuesday so I can call trish. thanks so much.
