hey im new to this group my daughter who is 3 1/2 has a speech delay she still talks pretty much all jargon(baby talk) with the exception of maybe 10-15 words. she is in school now and seems to be doing alot better since she started. her progress is slow but its moving along. before she used to have in home visits with a coordinator with the kennedy donovan center in newbedford ma and a speech patholigist who also came . each once a week with no results. and they came for about 9 months. april til december when she turned 3. but i think now that shes out of her home environment she is doing really well and understanding that she has to work and not always rely on mommy and daddy. |
