Hello all,

    I am planning a day trip to Mexico.  There is a local dairy/goat farm that is asking for donations of old towels and old playpens and baby gates, for use with the premies and newborns.  In exchange they will give tours.  Ive contacted them and am in the process of setting up a day where we can go and have a fun day at the farm.    Let me know if your interested in going so I can give them a definate answer on the day and group size.    Thanks to all

I absolutely love your idea!!  i'm a very much interested.  I do have some towels and a gate to donate.  Let me know when.   :)

Its looking like it will be sometime next week, as one of the moms will be getting back from NYC then and wants all of her girls to go.  Even the older (teenagers) ones.   As soon as I have a date finalized.  Ill post it on here.

ok so I have an exact date for the goat farm trip.  It will be on june 26th at 11:30 am.  Weather permitting.   Bring a sack lunch to.  This is a list of wanted donations and what they are used for.  (I was wrong about the baby gates.  Sorry)

playpens----we use these for the first 24 hours of a kids life or if a premie is born
towels--- bath - kitchen- any old unwanted towel will do ..we use these for the wiping the babies off after birth and for udder clean up of the does prior to milking
chainlink fencing-- 4 ft high..needed to do some barn renovations and pasture work
4 ft tall poly posts and 1/2 " electric tape ..to make a play area for the rest of the 2009 babies...

So please let me know if you're still interested in going.   I need to know how many will be in the group. 

That sounds manageable.  I have a few old towels that I can bring.  It would be me and the three boys.  Oh and I'll make arrangements for my own transportation.

I'm interested too! It will be me and my baby Jude.  My bf may go too if he doesnt have to work.  We have towels as well.  :)
