Breastfeeding Mommies
Public online group

Hello

My son was born a month early, and he never caught on to nursing. However, I have continued to pump and bottle feed him. Are there other moms out there that have been unsuccessful nursing, but still want to give their baby breastmilk?

At times, I feel overwelmed with the amount of time to get through his feedings; 30-40 minutes to eat, then we hold him upright for 20 minutes (per doctor's request), then pump for 15 minutes, and wash, rinse and dry bottles, and pumping equipment.  Aaaaaaaaaaaaaack! And now he is sleeping more through the night (9pm to 4am), he eats more often during the day.

Anyone else experienced this?
