Switching to A Crib

My daughter is almost 10 months and we have been co-sleeping since she was born. Recently though she has been nearly falling out of bed so Ive decided no matter how much I want to sleep with her its just not safe anymore. I was wondering if anyone had done this or if anyone has any tips for getting her to her own bed easier.

Im becoming very sleep deprived lol

There is always the put in crib and have her cry it out, or other no cry solutions. But those did not work for my family. When my daughter started moving alot and it was dangerous for her in our bed, we modified the bed by putting her crib next to my side of the bed, with one side of the crib taken off and it made it so she would sleep in her crib but still be sleeping with us. Also you could but a bumper up on the other side of the bed, so she doesnt crawl off the bed. Later after she is comfortable with her crib and sees it as a good place to sleep you can move the crib away from the bed and put the side back on. I hope this helps, good luck.

Thanks for the help! We ended up moving and the second night we were there she went down in her crib and slept right through with no fuss at all!

I had actually done the crib next to the bed for the last few weeks before we  moved so I think that really helped when she was in her own room!
