Does your child like to touch their private part?  I am very concerned.   

Don't be - this is normal.  If she's doing this in public, explain that it's not ok to touch "down there" other than in private. 

This is totally normal and I agree if you can just explain you don't do that in front of people, and make sure there is nothing wrong like an infection of some sort that is causing them to itch or something. Our 5yr old is always grabbing himself I know nothing about how the penis feels or works LOL so I asked my husband to PLEASE inform me of what could be wrong??? He suggested maybe he doesn't like the boxers so we bought him tighty whites and he doesn't hold himself as much. So that's just a lil' info for other moms having trouble keeping their boys from grabbing themselves every 2sec.
