Summer Reading Program

Hello Parents.

Sign up for the summer reading program started yesterday, May 2oth.  The actual program begins the first week of June.  The program is for kids 2-12 or 14 years of age.  Sorry, i can't remember the cutoff age.

The goal is for kids to read at least three books each week, if not more. Track these books.  At the end of summer, the will get a free book and win a prize if they can guess the number of books all the kids in the program read.  This guess is quatified by popcorn kernals in a jar.

There is also a scavenger hunt and a few other things, i can't quite recall as i sit her watching Nemo for the millionth time.  I hope to see some faces at the Mother Moose Friday or sooner at the Ladies of Leisure bike ride.

Loda and Morgan.
