desperate need advice

Hi all,

I have a 3 year old, and after several years of having her sleep with mom, now I need to break this habit. She is so resistant.... She naps in her own room but will not spend the night. If she falls asleep and wakes in the middle of the night and realizes she is in her bed it's over....... for mommie. YellShe screams and cries for over an 45 mins if i don't get her. What can I do? I have tried the tough love approach and walk her back to her room if she gets out of bed. But that doesn't last the entire night....I tried reassuring her she is ok and don't be afraid....HELP I Have a nite light for her as well... Yell

read "the no - cry sleep solution book" then definitly purchase the "Indigo Dreams" cd for her age. it will work wonders! trust me. It's amazing they listen to the cds before bed and wow! you can buy it on Amazon. make sure you get the one for her age though, the series goes all the way up to adult. It's afordable too! Hope, no... I know this will help:D keep me updated:D

No child has never died from crying..

Why is it now you're breaking this habit?

Thank you for the cd info.  I will let you know if it works.... i will look for the book.  I am breaking this habit, because I have not had a decent nite sleep in over three years..... my little lady is a traveling sleeper, she rolls and kicks in her sleep....Yell

another trick my friend did was when they transitioned from co sleeping inot there own room was they explained what was going to happen as well as that this was their bed and room and mommy has her own bed and her own room.

they lay next to their beds for a couple of nights (whole night)(say 2-3) and then u can either (whichever one u feel is would work for u) sleep in the doorway and then move to ur own room or skip the doorway. (it also helps to have a night routine, make warm memories in the kids room.)
