Tired of spending all of your time in doctor's offices?

The body is the most amazing complex machine known to man. Doctors and scientists have spent decades trying to figure out what makes it work and how to fix it when something goes wrong. We are now in the 21st century and we have only scraped the surface. Doctors and scientists are only beginning to understand how it works, but still can't figure out how to really "fix" it when something goes wrong. Every year, Americans spend trillions on disease-care, pharmaceuticals, and research on "cures" for diseases which are preventable in the first place. According to the National Coalition on Health Care, our health care expenditures were 2 trillion dollars in 2005 or $6,700 per person. Yet, we are still one of the unhealthiest industrialized countries in the world. There are third world countries that have more efficient healthcare systems than we do. Our country is overfed, overmedicated, and undernourished. Why is this?

In the beginning of time, people were either eaten by an animal or died from some other tragic event, but were overall pretty healthy. Did you know, there were NO reported cases of heart disease until the early 1900's and only 3% of Americans died from cancer. Today, 80 million people in this country have some form of heart disease according to the American Heart Association and 1 in 3 women and 1 in 2 men will have a form of cancer in his/her lifetime according to the National Cancer Institute. What happened? Our approach to medicine is "treatment" when it should be "prevention."

What we are doing is NOT working. Medicines have side effects, some of which we don't find out until it's too late. Surgery is very risky and is not always successful. We need to look at our health from a different approach. As I stated earlier, the human body is the most amazing comlpex machine known to man. There is an intelligence within it that keeps every cell working the way it should without us thinking about it. This intelligence is the same one that makes a baby from start to finish. This intelligence knows where to put the ears, nose, arms, feet and so on. This intelligence is what digests the food we eat so we can use the nutrients from it and it is the same intelligence that keeps our heart beating every minute of every day. This intellgence is the brain. The brain's main job is to maintain the health of the body. It is constantly sending and receiving messages from all parts of the body to keep it healthy. The way it does this is through the nervous system. The nerves are the pathways for the messages that are constantly being sent back and forth from the brain.

What happens if you interrupt these messages? Some part of the body will not work right and if left this way, will slowly die. It may take days, weeks, or years, but it will die. For simplicity, we will compare the nervous system to a garden hose. When you kink the hose, it affects the amount of water coming out. It may not cut the water off completely, but less water to feed your garden will eventually cause part of the garden to die. The same thing happens in our bodies. When there is an interruption in the nerve supply to a particular area of the body, that part of the body will not be working right. Common problems found with a diminished nerve supply may appear as, allergies, asthma, chronic ear/nose/throat infections, ADHD, arthritis, bed wetting, constipation, depression, fevers/colds, fibromyalgia, headaches, high blood pressure, indigestion, infertility, learning disability, insomnia, numbness/tingling, poor vision, hearing deficits, scoliosis, TMJ, torticullis, trigieminal neuralgia, muscle spasm, and pain anywhere in the body(head/neck/back/arm/shoulder/knee/hip/foot/hand). Severe conditions such as epilepsy, autism, multiple sclerosis, cerebral palsy, and parkinson's have also responded well to a restored nerve supply.

We know eating right, reducing stress, getting enough sleep at night, and exercise are all very important to our health. But there is something very few talk about that is the missing link to being healthy. It's our nervous system. I don't think we will ever really undertsand everything about the human body, but we don't need to. We just need to restore it's own nerve supply (power supply from the brain) so it can work the way it was designed to. As human beings we cannot "heal" anything. Only the body can heal itself.

The most common time we injure our nervous system is actually during the birth process. A study in Germany looked at about 1,250 newborn babies (5 days old). 95% of these newborns had an abnormality in the upper neck area that lead to hyperactivity, vomitting, and sleeplessness. After being adjusted, ALL of the infants became quiet, stopped crying, their muscles relaxed and they went to sleep. Interference in the upper neck area can lead to clinical conditions ranging from central motor impairment to lowered resistence to infections, especially those of the ear, nose and throat. Children should definitely be checked for a good nerve supply as early as possible. This will help them avoid many of the health problems most people suffer from. Although it is never to late to get your nervous system checked and restored, the human body can overcome years of abuse and neglect with a good power (nerve) supply. Why not give your children a better chance of health as early as possible? "Prevention" is easier and more cost effective than "treatment."
