Anyone know how to make SMOOTH pureed chicken??

I tried making pureed chicken today for the fist time.  I put very small chunks of cold cooked chicken in a food processor until it looked like small grains of cous cous (I couldn't get it any more 'powdery' than that). Then I added cold chicken stock. The consistency was very stringy, like mushy chicken salad? I need it to be smooth like mayonaise (like how it is in Gerber meats jars) as my daughter hates anything with texture. What did I do wrong?

Have you tried adding a little milk? it might make it a bit more creamy. My baby also wouldn't eat anything not smooth for a while so what I did is add the grainier chicken to things like potato, which was creamy.

I freeze poultry all the time...in fact we dont buy fresh because i am afraid of it going bad.  Ill buy pre frozen chicken, which lasts for a long time, but you can freeze fresh chicken and have it last 30 days.   For the pureed chicken, I looked up a recipe, and it said t just keep adding liquid until you get the consistency desired. Maybe you could try slow cooking the meat so it is a lot more tender, and that might give you a smoother texture. Hope that helped

Thank you Christina. But do you freeze it AFTER you've pureed it for your baby? I freezed chicken too, before I cook it. I was just wondering if it can be done AFTER its been cooked and pureed, like the rest of her baby food.
