Hello, my name is Lauren and I am new to the group.
My family and I live at the Jersey Shore. Is anyone from around here?
My husband Bill is a Carpenter. My daughter Isabella is 5 and will be entering
kindergarten in the fall. My son Max will be in pre-k this fall also.
I enjoy being a SAHM and love being part of on-line groups.
Being home has had many rewards and there also has been hard times, so I look forward to the on-line groups to talk about the everyday.

Hello Lauren,
I have family that lives not to far from the Jersey Shore. I used to go their every summer when I was a kid. I'm from Long Island, New York, but moved to Lafayette, Louisiana about a year ago. My daughter Lily is 5 also and will be starting kindergarten in August. Do you find it hard keeping your daughter busy and entertained without getting exhausted during the day? I'm pregnant and since we just moved here, we don't really have any friends so I'm finding it difficult having time to rest and keep my 5 year old from getting bored.

im more north then u in Linden actually . My old boss and friend is from Spring Lake as well. her name is Colleen.
My son is 2 1/2 his name is Nicky and I agree being a sahm is rewarding and hard

Hi Lauren,
Welcome to the group!!! My name is Denise and I have a 14 month old son. We live in Hazlet which isn't too far away from the Shore. We just visited the shore last weekend with our son for the first time and he had a blast!!!

Hi Lauren,
I'm new to the group as well and I too am from the shore, alittle more south than you, the Toms River area. I have an 8 monthold baby boy and am a first time SAHM and loving every minute of it.

It is so hot out. How is every one staying cool today?
I just came home from picking my daughter up from recreation and now we are having lunch.Then we are going to watch Annie for the 100th time.
She loves the movie. We are going to see the play in December at the State Theater. |

Hello Lauren,
My name is Jaime and I am not far from the central jersey shore and just moved here from the south jersey shore. My son Luke is 4 months old and I am a SAHM. I love my time with him but am finding it hard to keep the both of us entertained all day. I also look forward to these groups!
