Hello All! I am here to plea to you guys for some help with Liem's birthday party. I want Liem party to be awesome but we are not exactly rich or anything of the sort so I was wondering if I could perhaps borrow some things from you guys if you have anything to spare and I promise to return it just like it was. Here are some of the things I need...

-Chairs, folding are best since we will be outside.

-Tables, once again cheap folding ones. (I know I already asked Steph, so if that still ok just tell me)

-A tent I know those might be hard to find...

-Picnic tables. I want something for the kiddies to sit on while they do pudding painting or whatnot.

-Any outside toys. I was hoping to have a small kiddy pool maybe.

-Any extra party decorations you have left over from all of your kids 1st! :)

I was also thinking that I could make it like a potluck since we will be having it outside. If anyone has a great potato salad or fruit salad they could bring, or even like punch, that kind of thing. If you have anything I could borrow, I am going to start collecting next week Monday and I swear to keep a list and to return the stuff as soon as we can. Sorry if I sound cheap and desperate, but I want an awesome party for Liem, but without it having to look cheap. Just leave me a message with what you have and when I would be able to pick it up...Thanks guys!

well, all I really have that's portable is a small folding table. I can bring it to playgroup for you if you want. Also, I have no special dishes but could bring something.

I can lend some tables i am not sure about the chairs i will have to ask my mommy they are hers lol.   i also have the childs size picnic table  that you can borrow, and i can make a potatoe salad.

I wish I did have chairs for you!  I have to rent the damn things.  Why so much for tables and chairs?!!!!  I am getting a bunch of decorations so At the end of kennas party feel free to take whatever you want. 

I actually have a tent that you could borrow it's a small 3 person tent, what are you thinking of doing with it if I might ask?

Also I am the bargain diva, you could get pretty far with $20 at the dollar store next to Price Chopper they have some really nice things for decorations for a kids party anyway.

Yeah I am sorry I should have been a little more clear. I meant a party tent. I am totally planning on the dollar store for decor, but I thought if anyone had some left overs I would start there. Thanks everyone for your help.

well I don't have much but I do have a little kiddie pool... and 4 little kiddie chairs if that helps... I'll do some digging I might have some streamers and balloons or something... I think they might all be pink though...lol

Hey Adrienne I just wanted to let you know that I won't be able to make it to Liem's party :(   we are going to Parc Safari... we have to work around Charlies schedule and that seems like the only day we can go...  I can still give you some things I have for the party (if you want the kiddie pool and chairs) but I hope you have a great time!!!

NO!! I am so upset! I feel like no one is going to make it to the party and I will plan for all these people and only like 3 will show up :( I was excited aout you guys coming! But thats cool, have fun at Parc safari!

I know I'm sorry...I feel like the month of may is sooo busy for us.... our anniversary, mothers day, 2 weddings, 2 birthdays.... and the park is only open on weekends :(  Started in June you need a special license to go which is a lot of $$$...  I'm so sorry that we can't come I was looking forward to spending the big day with the little man!!!

Sorry Adrienne i am going to be a no show as well, i am so so sorry i really thought that we could make it but we are going to the park as well, and its the only time that works with both tims and charlies scheduale, i feel so bad, but i will def bring the stuff and the salad for it.  I wish we could share the day with him :(

I am not going to lie I am a little upset you guys aren't coming. I don't have any family here so I was counting on my friends to come to Liem's first birthday party. Don't worry about the tables and salad and stuff, I don't think there will be that many people that I need to worry about that stuff now. We have stuff here. Thanks though! Have fun at the park. 

hey adrienne, when is the party again? May 17th? I might be able to go if I figure out where you live! Let me know again. I see that you are really upset and I understand you want it to be special..they grow up so fast!

I'm really sorry that we can't make it adrienne... I understand where you're at... my family doesn't live around here either.... but Charlie really wants to take Annie there and he doesn't work at a place where he can just take random days off... so we have to work around his schedule... sorry... :(

Hey ... I was just talking to Charlie and I was telling him how bad I feel and he gave me an idea.... now of course you can tell me to "go to hell" but it's just an idea.... if the ladies in our group are the main source of "entertainment" and there are quite a few that can't go... would you even consider changing the date of the party?? I understand that you and sam have to work around you schedules but i just thought that could be an idea.... like on friday or monday??  totally disreguard if you feel i'm being inappropriate ...I'm not trying to I just feel bad....

No I get ya but I can't change it. I gave out a whole lot of invites and we just can't do it any other time because Sam's work is set in stone. He leaves on Monday for a trip to Rochester, so that why we thought Sunday would work. I would never tell you to go to hell but I will tell you that I bought the bag of clothes to the last playdate and you werne't there! :( I will bring them on Monday!

Alright.... well I'm sorry....  we will just have to celebrate with all week then!!
