I was going to just walk to Penfield, but if you guys like another one I can do it there. I just live closest to that one but I haven't been to any other ones, so I am biased. |

It was freakin raining or so I thought and I looked out the friggin window and it was beautiful. I was really bummed cuz I kept the kids inside all day and now I'm alone with them so we aren't going anywhere. I hope you guys had fun though. |

We went to the Center, I had a good conversation with Leslie. I begged her to come back and get rid of the Monstrosity aka Peggy. Leslie said she's usually there on Tuesdays, yesterday was a fluke. But she misses everybody and can't believe how big the kiddos have gotten. She also told me that the playgroup at the gym is going until the 2nd week in June, then they'll have outside activities for the summer. I went to a few last year but it was hard bcos E wasn't walking yet. This year will be better. Can't wait to see everyone tomorrow! Didi, can you bring OGBC?? pleasepleasepleaseplease? :) |

why do you refer to peggy as the montrosity? do you guys not get along? just wondering..I haven't been to the Center at all this week. Gym tomorrow hopefully! |

I have a hard time getting along with Peggy. She tries to be too hands-on with Eliza. I don't like it when people pick her up without her permission or without her asking them too. Also, After I had been there for a couple months, she started coming up to me and really pushing me to join the Parents Anonymous group. The first time, I took her advice and went to one of the meetings. I didn't find it was something I was interested in pursuing, I would rather spend the time with Eliza. After that, she would constantly ask me to come to one of the meetings or remind me when they were. It was pretty off-putting. I had told her repeatedly, "No thank you." Not to mention, I got really comfortable with the way Leslie ran playgroup. It was very calm, matter-of-fact and routine. I find Peggy's personality, while very kind, to be jarring and disquieting. It's a personal opinion, I shouldn't have resorted to name-calling to get a point across, it was just a way for me to vent my feelings about her that day. |

oh i understand and i can see what you mean! i am getting to know Leslie more and am finding we have a lot in common. I know about the parents anonymous push too. I go to and find it a way to talk to other parents, but you can also do that just by going to playgroup. |
