Tried out an indoor play ground

Hello all.  I made my first venture out.  I have been trying to months now to find some things to take my son too and then actually do it.  Now I have!  We went to the East Portland Community Center over my Mall 205.

My son had a great time.  There were many things for him to play with.  Lots of cars or things to drive (or push) in my son case.  After watching a few boys ride them he actually got on one and pushed it with his legs.  He has something like it at home but he really loves to just push it around.  So is was great to see him do something new.

They had big cushy steps and blocks to climb on and tunnels to go through, over stuffed couches to sit one, 2 basket ball hoops and a little tikes slide which turned out to be my son favorite.  He has been really scared to go down the one at the Clackamas Town Center play area because it is so steep.  So this was wonderful.  It was great to have a place that he could just run around.

That about it for now.  Still looking for other mom with kids around my sons age to play with.  However there doesn't seem to be alot of activity on this site.  I guess we will just have to wait and see how it goes.

Have a great day.  Hug your little ones.

We have gone to the indoor playground at OIT and Mt. Scott Community center.. Dylan seems to be a bit overwhelmed being only 13 months old. He does enjoy himself so long as the older kids don't run him over (this happened). Dylan and I both had colds two weeks ago, then the weather improved, and I had to finish my JBF consignment sale stuff. This weekend I am volunteering at the wee-cycle consignment sale and consigning. I will be busy getting items ready for the sale until Thursday. I plan on going to the Baby play at Sellwood Friday morning(provided that Dylan doesn't sleep in like he has been) and then my volunteering begins that afternoon
