Hello,

My name is Alicia.  I have a 3 year old son and 1 year old daughter.  I am at stay at home mom.  My husband and I recently moved to the area and I am looking to meet some other moms with kids and to join a playgroup so that my kids have playmates closer to their age. 

If anyone can give me some info on a current playgroup that I could join that would be great!

Okay, well I sent you an email with my email address, so I could invite you to our group, but it looks like I'll have to do it differently since I don't want to post it on an open thread.

Anyways, my name is Dawn and I live in Smithsburg with my husband and 18 month old son Caleb. I am a stay at home mom as well. I belong to a play group called little laughs tht is based in Hagerstown. If you like to join you can go to www.cafemom.com and look uder groups for little laughs. You'll have to register with cafemom before it will allow you to sign up for the group. Also, we are having a meet up tomorrow morning at the Valley Mall at 10:00 am. We usually meet near King's Jeweler's in the food court and walk some. Then we usually let the kids play in the playarea if it's not too crowded. We would love to see you there, if you can make it. Can't wait to meet you and your little ones.

Thanks for the info....just joined the site and applied to the group...unfortunately won't be able to make it tomorrow as we already had some home repair work scheduled in the morning....if you could keep me posted on future get togethers I would love to get involved in the group....looking forward to meeting you, hopefully in the near future!

No problem. I checked the calendar and we do have another meet up scheduled for Wednesday this week. It's at 10 am at Borders for story time. Hope to see you there!
