question for ex-breastfeeders

so hubs and i decided that we were going to switch her to formula (for a whole lot of situational reasons)...but like...im so....almost hurt by it...like its one of the hardest things im gunna do but she’s been on solids for a month (stage one) and she’s gunna have to stop breastfeeding in a couple of months anyway...

when you stopped did you feel bad, sad, or guilty or anything like that??
how did you get over it?

Personally, I felt terrible.  I got sick with my first and had to stop cold turkey beacuse of meds i had to take.  It was really hard.  With my son, he just needed more.  To make myself feel less gulity, i started making his baby food.  It's super easy, and really helped me.
