Looking for an answer
Hi everone this is my first time joining a group like this. But if you don;t mind I have been reading some of your questions and I have one if someone could help me. My son is very playful and out going but I can't get him to go off and play with other kids. He will go off but comes right back to see if I'm there and then he takes off.So he just comes back and forth. How can I get him to go and play?

At his age it is perfectly natural for him to go back and forth. You are his "base" and he needs to touch base often at one. I would be concerned if he wouldn't play with other children at all. Just let him know that he is welcome to touch base any time and as he gets older he'll do it less and less.

Thanks for the response I'll do that. But don't get me wrong I don't want him to stop all together just a little lless. But your probably right right and he will do it less in do time.

I would have to agree with Kelly, it means you have a good relationship with your son, he will grow out of it.
