You should check out www.motherscenter.net. I have been a memeber for 2 years now and love it. It provides you with opportunities for  playmates for your daughter and friendship for yourself. We have an active social calendar with things to do with your daughter, for yourself and as couples. And our weekly meetings are only held 10 mins away from Ottawa Hills. Any questions? Hi.  I live in Toledo too!  I am part of a playgroup that is always up for meeting new friends.  There are only six of us so far and we usually meet at a host mom's house near Ottawa Hills.  We are very relaxed and enjoy getting together to talk and let the kids play.  We are made up of mom's who work full-time as well as those who stay at home.  All of the children are under 2 years old.  Feel free to contact me and we can chat.  marisadelancey@sbcglobal.net

Hi Marisa.  I am new to the group and was just wondering what time of day your playgroup usually meets.  I work full-time and my daughter is only 4 1/2 months old but am looking to make new friends and get my daughter exposed to playing with children and to learn from other parents.  This is my first child so it'd be nice to hear others stories and get advice.

We meet in the evenings, usually Thursdays, but we are very flexible based on what everyone has going on.  Everyone arrives between 5:30 and 6pm.  Some hosts have food and sometimes we just order in.  Your daughter is about the same age as one of the other little girl's in the group.  We are all first time mom's too so we really enjoy the support the group gives.  If you want to talk more specifics about location or whatever, feel free to contact me at marisadelancey@sbcglobal.net.
