I can't get my kids to listen to me. I have a 8 and 6 year boy and a 3 year old girl. Anytime I tell my son to do something, his first reaction is well what does Shane have to do, or what does Kyle have to do. They are so worried about having to do more than there siblings, that they don't care what it is they have to do. My daughter now hates the bath because she sees that her older brothers give me a hard time. How do I get them to listen and stop talking back to me. My boys are to old for this. If this continues, the teenage years are going to be a nightmare.

hello,i dont know if you want to hear my opinion.im very old school.my kids are 21 down to 8.my kids went thru something similar...u know what i told them? i told them not to worrie about there bro,and start worrying about themselves,after all its THERE ASS,that im going to beat if they dont do what i say right now with no lip!!!! Im a pro spanking mom.kids need to show respect and not argue with parents or adults.they also need to no theres boundaries.if they didnt do it at that point,then i have no problem handing out swats.good luck
