This will sound silly. I am a SAHM (currently) with my 1 year old. Just moved here (2 days ago) and desperately need info like- can anyone tell me about the pediatricians? What about babysitters? I broke a tooth last night and HAVE to go to the dentist, can't take the kid and know NO ONE here :o) I was also looking for info on kids consignment shops and activities. He was in daycare 3 days a week in jacksonville and I can tell he is already missing the other kids... Thank you for any help anyone can give! I am hoping this will bring me lots of info and connections!

We go to Pediactric Associates. They have several doctors there. We see Dr. Michael Sonenblum. He is great! I also hear great things about Dr. Cato there as well. I saw Dr. Andrew Turner there before and did not like him. He wasn't very personable. They are located in St. Lucie West the # is 772-336-2818. I actually went to Pediactric Associates as a kid in their original location down in Broward County. Dr. Michael reminds me of my ped when I was a kid, I guess thats why I like him. I don't know anything about adult doctors up here because I am kinda new as well. All of my doctors have been down in broward since I use to work down there. I don't know much about daycares either since my mom watches Cameron for us when we work. There are a few consignment shops around. Some are way over priced! It seems like everyone is trying to make lots of money. There is a place called my gym that offers mommy and me classes. My sister takes my niece there. She is four but I know they do have classes for younger kids. I am thinking about taking cameron there in the summer. Hope this helps a little. Good luck with everything and setteling in. I go to Dr. Craig Willert in Jensen Beach right next to the mall. I love him, I tried out 2 or 3 different pedi's before I chose him, he never rushes me, and actually takes the time to sit down with me and listens to my concerns and questions.. and I'm a first time mom so I have lots and lots of them!
