Hey Mamas! I have a 8 1/2 mo. baby girl & 7 yr old step daughter. She was with us for a month this summer, but supposed to be with us all summer! We so miss her right now! What else about me? Welcome to the group Rochelle!! BOy do I know what you are going through. Before DH got his daughter fulltime we would miss her too! How far away do you live from SD? What is your visitation schedule like? Who has the residential custody or is it shared 50/50? How is the relationship with her mother? Do you communicate well or is it strained? My situation is ...... I have three bios, one SD, and three dogs!! My DH got full custody of SD over two years ago and it has been a roller coaster ride. It took moving heaven and earth and now that we have her we are not sure if she will actually thrive in our care. Her mother unfortunately is a drug addict that doesn't work. She and her spouse are both narcassictic and it is actually scary at times. You can't imagine the damage that can be done in a just a few short years. Welcome aboard. :)
