Unruly hair hints

I got this hint from a friend of mine when I was complaining about the absolute rat nest my hair has become since becoming a mom ....

When rinsing out conditioner from your hair - don't rinse  throughly. Wash just enough to get the majority out (I stand under long enough to ring my hair out twice) then comb through (out of the shower heads way) just to make sure it's not gunky anywhere. Some how leaving just this little bit in leaves your hair softer when dry and easier to brush! Saves time fighting tangles, leaves more time chasing kids!

Another easy way to keep it under control is to wash it at night sleep in braids and in the morning you have tangle free hair with a natural wave to it. If you have more than one braid it will look more natural. When my hair was  longer I used to do in sections 3 on top 2 on the bottom. This is also a good idea to save time in the mornings for young girls before school. There is less time fighting about brushing their hair. I learned this from my 8 yr old cousin. :) She is 13 now and still does this once in a while to her hair.
