My husband and I have 3 little boys (5 and under) and need to move within commuting distance from Manhattan/Bronx area.  We've lived in Long Island and do not want to move back there because of the congestion and other reasons.  We're looking for an area that is is very family oriented and has more of a small town feel.  We are also interested in renting a house with a good amount of land for the boys/dog to run around on.  Any information will be very much appreciated.  Thanks in advance!!
