Welcome to the area. I hope the gray weather hasn't been a downer for you. To be honest, the best support I have found is through MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) and MOMS club. I am a stay at home mom w/ a beautiful 7-month old boy. It took me awhile to venture out and try these groups out, but I was feeling isolated and I took a chance. I really like both clubs. MOPS is sort of Christian based, and I was hesitant because I consider myself spiritual, not religious. THey do not push religion there, they are very nice, and they provide childcare. I go to the Tuesday meetings in Everett at Calvary Baptist. THe Marysville MOMS club has several activities each month, including age-appropriate playgroups. yes my son is excited to start school but i'm not. he is going to marshall elementary.
