Stop abortion. A voice for the unborn

Ok, maybe I am over stepping some boundries here but I feel strongly...

America is fighting Pres. Obama on abortion, you can help.

The unborn can's speak for themselves, be we can speak for them. Please help save lives!

Take a red envelope and address it to:

President Barack Obama

The White House

1600 Pennsylvania Ave, NW

Washington DC, 20500

On the back of the envelope, write the following message: this envelope represents one child who died because of an abortion. It is empty because the life that was taken is now unable to be a part of our world.    MAIL THIS IT ON MARCH 31

We'd like to send 50 million red envelopes, one for every child who died (in the U.S.) before having a chance to live. It may seem that those who believe abortion is wrong is the minority, but let us show our President and the world that abortion is NOT acceptable. It will be Quiet but clear!!!

Thank you!!!!!!!!

While I respect your opinion and respect your right to post on a public forum, yes, this is completely inappropriate.

Not only is it inappropriate but it is also very offensive. Do you think anyone on this forum gets a warm and fuzzy feeling from the concept of abortion despite what they believe. Please respect the women on this site!!

This is so inappropriate, I can't even begin to display my outrage at this post. As women we need to support other whatever their decisions are. I do not feel this is the right forum to have this discussion.

Every preagnancy is so different and every woman's situation is so different...so please step out of this matter and let the individual who is going to carry and raise the baby make that decision for themselves....God forbid one day you might have a very young daughter (12 to 15) years who is pregnant.. would you not want to be able to have a choice?

This forum is for mothers...women who have children,,, you are using the wrong forum to air your ideas.....

Interesting.....the original poster profile went from "Jackie" to "Fred" who is now 55 years old.

While it may be inappropriate for this sight, I agree with the poster that unborn children should be spoken for.  Here is a food for thought:

How would you respond in these situations:

1) A preacher and his wife are very, very poor. They already have 14 kids.  Now she finds out she's pregnant with the 15th.  They're living in tremendous poverty.  Considering their poverty and the excessive world population, would you consider recommending she get an abortion?

2) The father is sick with sniffles, the mother has TB.  Of their four children, the first is blind, the second has died, the third is deaf, the fourth has TB.  She finds she's pregnant again.  Given this extreme situation, would you consider recommending abortion?

3) A white man raped a 13 year old black girl and she's now pregnant.  If you were her parents, would you consider recommending abortion?

4) A teenage girl is pregnant.  She's not married.  Her fiance is not the father of the baby, and her fiance is upset.  Would you recommend abortion?

In the first case you would have killed John Wesley, one of the great evangelists in the 19th century.

In the second case, you would have killed Beethoven.

In the third case, you would have killed Ethel Waters, the great black gospel singer.

If you said yes to the fourth case, you would have declared the murder of Jesus Christ!

God is the author of life, and HE has given every single individual supreme value.  Each life - whether inside or outside the womb - should therefore be valued by us. God knows the plans He has for each individual and has written in His book all the days ordained for us before one of them came to be.

When we presume to know better than God who should be given life, we are putting ourselve in the place of God and are guilty of idolatry (see the ten commandments).

This is what I believe and If a doctor or anyone recommended abortion to me, this is what I would tell them.  If abortion continues, it alters our future.

To the orginal poster- I would have mailed a red envelope if i would have read this post in time. I'm sorry to those who it offends to stand up for the protection of children, but it offends me not to, and offends is an understatement. Don't hide your identity. Stand proud on your principals and morals. This is board is a way for people to share their thoughts, ideals, problems, and advice. And while respecting all mothers, the "pro-life" crowd does tend to be higher in parent groups, who have first hand witnessed the miracle of life. No one is going to agree with all the opinions expressed on this board, from potty training to other.
