Support for loosing the extra pounds

Hi
Hi, Im Jenn and I am a SAHM to 2 babies. My kids are 1 yr and 1 week apart, and yes that 1 week is VITAL! LOL I recently went to the doctor for a check up and was stunned to discover that I have 70 pounds to loose. I knew that I had tanked some weight on while pregnant with my daughter but I didn't realize that it was quite so much.
So I find msyself in a predicament. I have a lot of weight to loose and honestly, no interest in trying to loose it. I hate, loathe and dispise dieting and exercise. I hate not having the energy to play with my kids either so I have to do something. I just feel so...ugh. The kids run me into the ground since 1 doesn't sleep through the night and the other is 2 and into tantrums and anything that means I have to chase him down. By the time that I can do something for myself...I just want to have a cup of coffee (and maybe a cookie or two!) and read a book and enjoy the only time I get for myself quietly.
I promise to be your cheerleader as best as I can if you guys can help kick my a** off the couch and motivate me into actually doing something! LOL
So thats that. Thanks!
Jenn

Hey Jenn I can only imagine how you deal with two children so close in age. I am a mother of 1 and that is work enough. I know exactly how you feel that when you get a free moment you want to soak it all up and enjoy it as best as possible. One of my best things yet is incorporating my dauhgter into my workout schedule. Even if it is just taking a long walk at a brisk pace with the baby in the stroller, or getting a 2 mile jog in while she watches a show and I am on the treadmil, and last but not least which this might require your husband or a friend to go with you since you do have two little ones is swimming. You can always workout while you cool off from the summer heat. The other thing is house work we on here have all talked about doing our house work as fast as we can therefore burning calories and building up a sweat. I don't have a bike, but bike riding is another good excercise. Don't try to kill yourself by dieting and excercising, you can lose weight and still eat desirable foods, by cutting the amount you eat. Ensure you drink plenty of water, and I am glad you will be cheering us on. Good luck and lets us know how you are doing.
