Hi other "30 something" mommies!  My name is Shelley.  I'm a mom of one 14 month old little girl, McKenna.  Up until a month ago, I have been a hard workin, career chasin, ball bustin career woman.  I left my career to be home with my girl full time!  It's been a huge transition, but an awesome one.  I just joined this site to make connections with other mom's and to help my daughter make new friends.  Since she was in child care for the first year of her life, she is VERY social and loves being around other kids!  So, my goal is to get out there and start meeting other moms with kids and get some much needed support for myself =)

 Hi, My name is Victoria and my little one is Ke'Morrah. I am new to this also. I have A 13 month old Foster to adopt litttle girl. I enjoy/love her very much. She is currently in daycare while I am at work. She is very sociable, loving, and silly. It is very hard to find others who would like to do fun activities or just hang out with little ones.Same with the support!! Hope to hear from ya.

Hey Tory, That is awesome that you are adopting!  My parents were foster parents for a long time!  I was adopted as well.  What part of Milwaukee do you live?  I just created a group called "fresh air please" in hopes to find some mom's and dad's that might want to get together and do some outdoor stuff now that spring is starting to peak it's head here in Milwaukee.   I hope to have a good response to it and get some parents and little ones together!  I know my girl needs to make some new friends now that she is not in daycare anymore.  She misses the social aspect of daycare for sure!  What kind of schedule do you have with your job?  Let me know what days of the weekend your are not so busy.  I understand being a working mom for sure!  I just recently became a stay at home mom...just 5 weeks ago.   I'm still finding a routine that works for both of us =)
