I am very new to being a SAHM!  So far I love it, but before I had my daughter (15 months ago) I was hard core career lovin, ball bustin, money making career woman; I was in sales. 

Currently my hubby and i live in Milwaukee, but we just sold our home so we can relocate to Seattle, WA.  Job market is better for his industry and close to family.  So, I'm tossing around ideas and talking to people who work from home...like those who are WAHM or WAHD's.  

I would love to know what opportunities are out there.  As I mentioned my background is in sales...I have many interests and have some ideas floating around in my head, but would love any constructive advice...the good and the bad.  Anyone in Seattle...I would love to talk to you too!

Hi Shelley, I hope you are doing well today. I also am a sahm and it is so nice to be able to be able to be with my kids all the time. But sometimes it gets a little frustating, that is one of the great things about having your own business, you can get out and relax and talk to wonderful people. I am with a company called Just for Fun Parties. I sell adult toys, lingerie, and lotions and novelties. 

Although I love my company and I really believe in our products and our people, I think the direct selling party business has so many opportunities. If what I do is not for you there are so many other companies out there selling so many different products. I love being able to set my own hours, and work when my hubby can be home to watch the kids (4 of them). It is also wonderful to know that I am helping the family financially, while not putting my kids in some daycare I can't really trust.
