Hi all...its been MONTHS since I have been here... but I wanted to share something I will be doing with Katie.  I am not sure if they have room left but its worth a try... and its cheap!

Same here. I looked into Kindermusik a while back, when I was babysitting Kya. I thought they had other classes for our age group. I think they do nationally but not locally. I get a newsletter from time to time from www.kindermusik.com .

grr... due to 2 dr appts I already have scheduled, I would miss 2 of these weeks, so I prob. wont do it - but thank you SO much for the info.

They do offer classes for 0 - 18 month olds and 18 - 36 month olds.  I think what they offer depends a lot on community interest.  All classes are held at the North Country Cultural Center.  Silas has been in Kindermusik since he was 14 weeks old.  It's a wonderful program.  He's just now completing a session called "Milk and Cookies".  They are starting a new class in May.  It's a 5 week course called "Mini Adventures in Music".  They are offering one on Wednesday and one on Saturday at 9 AM.  Fee is $60.  Some of the classes can be a little expensive but we've been really happy with it.  The coordinator at NCCC is Colleen.  She would love to hear from you if you're interested.

I just called today... :)  Colleen mentioned two classes on Wednesdays (9-10) and 4:15-5:15 and on Saturday am.  She said this class is for 18-4 yrs.  She is sending me a flyer with the info. 

Alrighty!  It will be $60 for the class and then $30 for the materials. 

I called to see if I could get E into the Creatures class, I think the other one is too young for her. They were ok with her going into it and then I realized she'll be 1 1/2 (!) when the class starts so it's all gravy. I'm getting the registration information in the mail later this week. They said they need the $30 for home materials as a down payment when you register or by April 24. I'm still not sure if we're gonna do it. $90 is a bit steep. They have to have the remaining balance paid before the first class starts. I figure a bit each paycheck and we might be able to swing it, it's not 'til May. I'm gonna try the afternoon class since our mornings are usually jam-packed. 415 on Wednesdays is pretty good for us. Thanks for the info, Amanda!

We are gonna pass on this one. Katie will be 4 before the class is 1/2 over. And with PreSchool and dance I don't want to get her into too much.  But I am gonna try to keep an eye on this for her and her brother next time around. :) Plus... "$90!!!!!! For 5 weeks????? WHOA (Thats what my husband said)"!
