with a 11 pound boy just about to wake up.  He's adopted and African American, while both my wife and I are white.  I suppose those are extra challenges. 

I am 48 and my son will turn two tomorrow. It was lots of work (still is) but he is the very best thing that ever happenedto me. Sometimes I find myself looking at him with a big smile on my face. Only parents can understand this kind of feelings. Don't worry about anything or anybody, enjoy your time with your son he will only be 11 month old just one time.   

Mervat, 11 pounds, not 11 months.  He's actually 11 weeks old on Tuesday.  And I just might be picking those 11 pounds up wrong, because I've got my first backache in years this weekend. 

11 pounds is not much, my son who just turned 2 today is 30 pounds and I still pick him up( I am only 103 pounds) great workout.
