Have you tired the diets that are out. I know we don't keep caffine and limit sugar in the house, but my son has to be on the meds. I have tried it without it and it doesn't work for him.   Set a schedule for her also, I know that the house runs smoother if they are on a schedule cause it is easier for them to process what is going on.  I know if the schedule changes unexpectedly here it is chaos. I always let the  kids know what is going on that day so it isn't so hard on them.

I hope I have helped a little.

These ladies are 100% right. Sugar, of any kind, is no good for anyone. The best thing to do is give them 100% all natural food, no dyes, no processed food, and no caffeine. You have to be really careful with labels, they are very tricky. No high fructose corn syrup (even though they say it's ok in moderation...it's not), no corn syrup, no fructose, no sucrose, no enriched or modified breads/pastas. 100% whole wheat/grain is what to look for. There is also a product out that is a whole food supplement. It's called JuicePlus (www.4newlifejuiceplus.com is where you can find some research on it and also order it). This is a wonderful product that contains 17 fresh, raw fruits and veggies. Myself and my whole family are on this product. My 5yr old stepson has been on this for about 1 year and he's doing remarkable. I hoped i helped some.

I didn't want to go the drug route either, but once I agreed to try them, I noticed a DISTINCTIVE difference when he is not on them.  I didn't want to admit that, but it is true.
