Gramma
My 20 yr old who has been living with his 17 yr old gf and their family ,just called me and told me that I am going to be a gramma.Well Im happy in 1 sense ,but extremely sad in another.Hes 20 and very irresponsible.Hes lived with 7 different friends in the last 2 yrs.He wont go and get a job.He refuses to grow up.Hes going to school still.Im afraid that he got her preg; so that the dad wouldnt kick him out. While he was telling me she was preggo ;I heard her in the background saying, that they were growing apart ;so she thought a baby would bring them closer!!!!!!
I called hubby and told him and he went off!He tells me that I am never going to have the baby over here, that he refuses to raise it,and I better not go and see them and it.I said OMG ,WE CAN BE LIKE YOUR PARENTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!YAY!!!!!Raise em and then ignore you and their grandkids!!!!!He of course didnt like to hear me say the truth, and I told him ;Ill have that baby over and go and see it and if he didnt like it he can go to hell!He of course bitched for a few more minutes of which I ignored. Her mother is all good with it and the dad of course is livid.I am just going to pray for them and hope that they have a healthy baby and can raise it right and if not do the right thing and give it to her parents, if they cant.Hopefully ,this will make him grow up.
Yall remember me several months ago constantly griping that he refused to grow up.Well this is how he has chosen to live.

God Bless You, I have a 14 year old daughter and I have genuine fear of what you are going through is what I am going to be going through. It scares the holy hell out of me. but could you have done anything differant with him? I ask my self this everday? and I think that we can only do our best and pray that some where down the line what we have taught them will come back to them. unforntianatley i was one one of those hard headed kids that thought I knew everthing just like them Im sure. But what do you do. as far as your husband, he sounds like mine, my husband is a good man but he can be a ass, sound as though he may be realated to mine. Good Luck to you and congrats gramma!
