I am a 49 y.o mother and grandmother. My husband and I have been married going on 27 years. We have a 32y.o. daughter (my stepdaughter) who we have raised since she was 4y.o., a 25y.o. son, a 23y.o. daughter, and an 8y.o. daughter. When we had our 8y.o. she was a big surprise. We just figure God has an awesome sense of humor. She has been a blessing and we laughed and said we would stop with her as our last. Well, somehow we keep getting children one way or another. We now have legal guardianship of our 7 month old granddaughter. We figure we'll never be married without kids at this point. Thank God we have the resources to do this and the energy and the time and the desire. We wouldn't change it for the world. They really do keep you young. It remains an everlasting cycle or learning.
