Hi everyone!  I currently live in Casper, Wyoming, but my family and I will be moving to Norman in late-April or early May.  My son and I currently attend a playgroup in Casper and I am hoping to find a playgroup in Norman before we move, so we can get right back into a regular routine.  My name is Shauna and my son's name is Lucas.  He will be 2 in April.  If anyone knows of a playgroup that meets for his playgroup, I would really appreciate any information about it.  Also I would love to know what it is like to live in Norman.  I have lived in Wyoming all of my life and would love to know what family-friendly activities there are in Norman.  Thank you!

Are you military? We are. I live in Moore which is near Norman. There is a lot of cool stuff to do. Me and my friend Heather, on this site, are trying to get a play group established. It hasn't exactly taken off yet but I bet by the time you get here it will be more established.

Hey Krista.  My husband isn't in the military.  His company is building a facility in Oklahoma City and he was asked to run the facility.  I know about being a military family, though.  My dad is retired from the military.  He was in the Navy for a majority of my childhood.  I am hoping to find a playgroup or even some moms who would like to get together for kiddo playtime and mommy time.  I'm willing to drive a bit to get to a playgroup/playdate too.  Before we moved into Casper, we lived 23 miles outside of Casper and I would drive into Casper for playgroup.  Please keep me posted about your playgroup!

I don't know that much about Moore. I will start researching through friends at church for you. Most of them live in Norman.

We finally have a moving date.  We will be moving to Oklahoma on the 8th.  We should be in Oklahoma on the 9th.  We are making it a 2 day trip because our little guy probably wouldn't handle making the drive in one day.  Very excited to be starting a new adventure in our lives, but I'm a little nervous because I have lived in Casper for a majority of my life.
