My 15 week old daughter is teething and nothing we seem to do helps to soothe her. I have treid a wet washcloth, teething rings, tylenol, and baby orajel. Any suggestions to help ease the pain? |

Try massaging her gums with your clean fingers. Being close to you will be comforting and you will be helping those new teeth to break through the skin. |

Baby Orajel usually worked okay for my daughter, but when she was teething REALLY badly, I dabbed a little bit of vanilla extract on her gums and that seemed to work like a charm. Give it a try. My parents used to rub rum on my gums, but some people aren't cool with that. :-) I hope everything works out okay. That was the toughest stage was the teething stage - for me atleast (and for my daughter). |
