Hi! I just joined this group and I'm hoping to find/form a play group for my 2.5 year old boy.  I also have a 3 mo. old. but I'd like to find playmates for my son.  The hard part is finding groups/activities that start later in the morning (11am-ish) or later. We live in Sandy and I've had no luck finding groups so far.

I am not involved in any play groups now, but I would be very interested in joining a group. I also have a little boy about 26 months old. I live in the Happy Valley area. I am a full-time student now with a really flexible schedule most of the time. Nice to meet you of sorts.

Nice to "meet" you too!  I still haven't found any groups but if your interested in getting together with the little ones- I'm all for it.  Unfortunately, we have had a cold bug in our house this week, but maybe next??.. I'm hoping to get the kids out on a fairly regular basis one to two times a week, doing various activities- parks, house visits, zoos, cafes, etc. I have a wide variety of interests and always looking for new ideas.  I hope to hear from you soon.

I am a nanny for a 2 year old girl and 5 year old boy.   We are not around Sandy/Clackamas but, if you would like to meet somewhere (Zoo, OMSI, ect...) I would love to get together sometime.

All this next week I am on spring break! If either/both of you are interested in meeting up for a play date, that sounds fun. I would be down for whatever. If the weather is nice, a park would be okay. If the weather is bad, we could find a restaurant like Old Wives Tales, that has a little play area. What do you guys think? There are lots of things to do.

We are also on Spring Break this week.  I would love to meet up up sometime.   I think since we are so spread out it would be best to meet some where.  I am planning on taking the kids to "Geting Loose with Mother Goose" on Wednesday and to Penny Puppets on Friday.  

Both or puppet show.   "Getting Loose" is preformed by the Ladybug Theater at the Smile Station in Sellwood.  Penny Puppets will be at the Milwaukie Grange.   Further info is on nwkids.com.   If either or both of you would like to join me just let me know.

The nwkids.com is a great site for stuff to do. I was thinking about taking my son to the Penny Puppets at the Milwaukie Grange this Friday. I think he might like that.

Sure. We will be there at 10:00 too. We are both redheads; I hope not hard to miss. My fiance says that Portland has to be the redhead capital of the world. We like the cold and dark I guess, less chance of getting a sunburn that way.
