New mom, joining the group. I have a newborn baby born 2-20-2009. She is being breastfed currently and doing very well.

I am checking out this site to network with other mom's as it has been a good amount of work. Tiring, but rewarding as well.

I am looking forward to talking to the new moms.

Welcome, I myself have not been a member of the group for very long but I have found it to be a great way to get input from weathered mom's.  I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. Congrats on the baby!!!

Hi Katy and everyone I too am a brand new mom and new to this site. My son was born on January 16th, 2009. Yes my son has certainly kept me busy too but he's such a delightfully bright baby boy, I just can't help but smile everyday. Motherhood truly is a rewarding experience.

I look forward to meeting and learning from other moms, we all have some tips to share with one another as we discover things with our baby. I also hope to connect with moms in BC Canada in particular and learn about playgroups etc in my local area.

welcome welcome and congrats on the new baby girl.  I wish that I had been able to breastfeed longer than a couple of days(I just didn't produce enough) but oh well.

Hi Katy!  CONGRATS, and Welcome to Motherhood - it's a wild ride!  I have a 2 1/2 yo son who I breastfed for 13 and a half months - it was one of the the most amazing, rewarding experiences of my life.  Keep up the good work, and if you run into any problems, feel free to drop me a message for advice or support!  :)
