Potty Training questions

Hi Everyone

I thought I would ask the advice of some of you who have already been throgh the potty training maze. We are currently potty training our 24-month-old daughter. We are two weeks in. She is doing really well and can stay dry IF I set a timer and make sure she goes every 30-60 minutes. If I wait for her to tell us she dribbles a bit and then realizes that she has to go. My question is do I continue to tell her when to go and eventually she will realize it on her own or do we start waiting for her to tell us? Also she is in no way ready to stay dry at naps and overnight so I have been putting her in a diaper. I wonder if this sends a conflicting message to her about everything we are saying about being a "big girl."

Thanks

Sarah
