Family seeks another for conversation and activities

Been in Eugene for awhile and having trouble meeting other couples to interact and get to know. We have two kids 2.5 and 8mo. If you have kids in same age range or are looking to make some new friends let me know.

Thanks

Dan and Renee

Hello Dan & Renee,

My 2 year old daughter and I are looking for new friends.  We are usually playing during the evenings and all day on weekends.  It does seem to be tough to meet friends right now since the weather isn't very park friendly.  Let us know if you'd like to have a playdate.

Thanks,

Morgan & Madeline

Funny it sounds like you could be telling our story. I suppose we are still relatively new to the area but we are experiencing the same difficulty in making connections here in Eugene. Our son is 2, and we tend to be a pretty active family, though the cold rainy days do slow us down a bit. We would definately be interested in a kid friendly excursion with the possibility of some adult type conversations on the sideLaughing. Morgan and Madeline could join us for some play date festivities too!

Thanks Dani, Adam & Graysen.  Madeline and I went to a friends birthday party at Bounce last weekend.  It was so much fun that we're going to start a class on Wednesday evenings.  Madeline is hooked!  Other than that, we would love to be a part of some play date festivities.  Let us know if you have something in mind or if we should all come up with something together..

Maybe there are a lot of us out there.  My husband and I moved to Eugene last July, and we have had the same difficulty meeting other "young" parents.  I have a 16.5 month old boy Zane and would like to meet some other parents with younger children to explore some of the local kid activities and for playdates and friendship.
