My name is Vanessa Peters, 20-year resident of California but born and raised in PeoriaIllinois.My 16-year old daughter preceded me in the move back to Illinois and is currenlty (living with her grandmother) and attending Dunlap High School. I’ll be relocating, or returning home for good this summer and wanted to introduce myself ahead of time.
I am a tutor and licensed childcare provider that specialize in phonics and reading instruction for Pre-K through elementary aged school children.
Regarding safer products, I'd love to open dialogue with parents of preschoolers about the potential reading challenges developed from prematurely introducing the sight-words (concept) via Dr. Seuss's books before phonics or the letter-sounds concept.
