Girl, please. My kid's (6) bumps and thumps has created the "geography" of their heads. (LMAO). Babies are more durable than you think. Have you seen the way the nurses flip them and flop them all around. I saw a nurse hosing a baby down so good in a nursery one day, it reminded me of one of those seens when the police hose down rioters. We have to remind ourselves not to turn or backs and if we think they can fall they probably will I used to get scared if one of my kids took a fall, but from my experience and many trips to the E.R. I learned a few rules of thumb.............When to start worrying
-If your child falls from something that is more than 3 ft. from the floor.
-What area did he/she hit
-If they can't remain concious when you are trying to keep them awake (EVEN A MINOR BUMP WILL MAKE A CHILD SLEEPY, THATS OK. WORRY IF THEY BECOME UNWAKABLE).
-If they can't seem to focus or look "silly/goofy".
-If they puke, projectile vomiting is a telltale sign of a head injury for kids.
Its always good to keep them awake for an hour, just use that as bonding time to play with them and monitor their behavior.
