Buying a house?

Is anyone thinking of buying a home since BAH went up? My husband thought it was a good idea bec. not only are interest rates down but prices are kind of low as well. We live on base at the moment but we went ahead a bought a place....Just seeing what you're thoughts are----

Hi Suzanne-- We live in the San Diego area--there are a lot of houses for sale and so the prices are a bit lower than they were last year. Living in southern CA is still more expensive than most states but our BAH is higher. Property taxes are what's going to kill us. Good luck with your move!
