feeding solids
Hi my daughter is 16 months old but still not ready to eat a proper meal..she always want just milk...i try not giving her that but then she keeps crying which is like so frustating sometimes..n then i just give up ..i do try to offer her solids before milk but she will taste it n then she will spit it out she wont even swallow the food...i just don't know wat to do

My daughter is 13 months and certainly prefers nursing to eating as well.  The doctor says I need to start her on whole milk, but she's not having it.  She's also a very picky eater and will only eat a few different things (after I offer her mulitiple options). I feel your frustrations...but as long as her weight is progressing, try not to worry :)  It's not like she'll never eat...

Hi, thanks for ur reply...i know its kind of tough my doctor keeps on telling me that she is fine though she calls us in every 3 months for her checkup...my daughter even though she is 16 months she weighs only 18 pounds...that is something i am really concerned abt....i just don't know wat to feed her so that she wud put on some weight..
